The Barony of Fettburg is the chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism Inc (SCA). Our Barony covers the area for Stockton, Manteca, Modesto (California) and surrounding areas.  Our baronial lands lies within the Principality of Cynagua in the Kingdom of the West.

The SCA is an international organization for those who enjoy researching and re-creating the Medieval period (pre-17th-century Europe). The SCA consists of 19 kingdoms, with members which reside all around the world. Members research and re-create a "persona" and attend events which may feature armored tournaments, archery competitions, arts and sciences collegiums (workshops), culinary competitions, equestrian activities, dance, coronations, investitures, feasts, meetings, and more.

The Barony of Fettburg has been actively recreating the Middle Ages since A.S. (Anno Societatis..."in the year of our Society") XI or 1977 in the current era.
