Adorn yourselves in your best finery, for this be the time of revel and Yule is upon us!

A time to dance, sing, and celebrate away the longest winter's night.

The Baron and Baroness of Fettburg welcomes you into the warmth of friends to keep the cold at bay. This year we celebrate the "Lord and Lady of Misrule". We shall have small cakes, and the person who finds the "bean" first shall be the Lord/Lady of Misrule, and then they shall choose a partner where together they shall preside over the festivities of the Fete.

...come hither and bring your tales, voices and music to share with Yule guests. Tales of valor and chivalry, Of love lost and found, tales of adventure and prowess to be shared.

In the Fettburg tradition its populace shall provide meats (turkey and ham), breads, wassail (spiced apple cider), and the "Misrule" cakes. This event is a potluck so please bring one of your favorite dishes (to serve 10) to share with Yuletide guests. Using your mundane LAST name please bring a dish from the list below:

A-J: Vegetable or fruit dish.
K-R: Side dishes
S-Z: Desserts

YULE ACTIVITIES will include:

  • Best Table Decorations - since this is Fettburg's 34th year, and such is the Amethyst and Honey - you might want to decorate your tables using this emphasis as an inspiration.
  • Best Toast: to the Baron and Baroness of Fettburg and to the Lord and Lady of Misrule.
  • Bardic Competition: "It Happened One Yule"
